Events & Community Manager (DE/AT)
Lawyer who fell for marketing? Join BEAMON as Legal Content Marketer: make us the first name German-speaking lawyers think of for legal AI. Remote in DE/AT, real ownership, fast growth.
About BEAMON
BEAMON is the AI workspace for lawyers. Draft, review and research with legal AI you can trust, connected to the legal content lawyers already rely on and to a workflow engine that turns AI output into finished legal work.
700 clients in 10 months. That is how fast law firms and legal teams are moving to BEAMON.
Built for lawyers, not adapted for them. Assist, Draft (in Word) and Extract cover the daily work: research, drafting, redlining, contract review at scale.
Content no one else has. We were the fastest growing independent European AI assistant to integrate content from legal publishers, starting with Dr. Otto Schmidt.
The European challenger. Others have the headlines. We grow fast anyways.
The master plan:
Own DACH. Become the default legal AI for every small and medium law firms and legal teams in Germany and Austria.
Win multiple verticals. Lawyers, legal teams, notaries and municipalities. We help small teams win big – with BEAMON.
Set the standard. Make BEAMON the benchmark for how legal experts work with AI.
We're early. Most of the work is ahead of us, so we are building a world-class team.
The opportunity: Event & Community Manager
Your job: make BEAMON the legal AI that German-speaking lawyers have met in person. When a Kanzlei partner thinks legal AI, they remember the dinner, the roadshow stop or the webinar where it clicked. And the BEAMON people who were in the room.
Harvey and Legora buy the headlines. We win the people.
You'll start by building our events engine across Germany and Austria including. webinars, and intimate dinners with partners, clients and prospects. Then you go bigger: blockbuster events and product launches people talk about. You know that in legal, trust is personal. A managing partner won't come to a "networking event". She will come to a dinner with six peers, a sharp topic and a host who knows her name. That instinct is your unfair advantage.
This is a role with senior-level ownership from day one. Nobody will hand you an event calendar. You build it, along with the playbooks, the supplier list and the budget that let it scale.
Every event we run meets YOUR standard. If it doesn't feel like BEAMON, it doesn't happen. If you nail it, you'll grow into leading events and community for BEAMON as we scale.
Full-time, remote, based in Germany or Austria. Hybrid if you are in Vienna. Frequent travel is part of the job.
This is a role that requires proactiveness, creativity and ownership. You’ll report to me, Chris (Head of Growth). I ask a lot and together we will achieve a lot.
You'll work closely with me (Chris, Head of Growth), Co-founder & CEO (Michael Grupp), Marketing, Sales, and our partners.
What you'll own
Because of you, lawyers and legal teams meet BEAMON, trust it and start a trial.
Events portfolio. You plan and run the full range: roadshows and webinars with partners, executive dinners and roundtables, flagship events, and BEAMON's presence at third-party conferences. In Germany, Austria and beyond.
Invites and outreach. You own the guest list. You reach the prospects, clients, partners and legal influencers we want in the room, and you get them there. You don't take no for an answer: a polite no is the start of the conversation.
Community. You are the focal point of the BEAMON community. You know our members by name, keep them engaged between events, and turn happy clients into champions who host, speak and bring peers.
Logistics and on-site. Scheduling, registrations, participant communication, Know Before You Go, speaker and staff briefings. On the day, you run the room and nothing falls through.
Budget and suppliers. You own event budgets, venues, caterers, agencies and contracts. You negotiate hard and every euro shows up in pipeline.
Content and brand. With the Legal Content Marketer, you create event identities, invites, promotional content and recaps that keep working after the lights go off. Every touchpoint looks and feels BEAMON.
Performance. You track every event from invite to pipeline and report back within a week. You know which formats work, and you kill the ones that don't.
How we measure success
Your success shows in pipeline and in who is in the room.
KPIs:
Primary| Event-sourced pipeline: Trials and demos where an event or community touchpoint was a touchpoint
Secondary| Audience quality:Share of attendees who are decision makers at target firms and legal teams, and show rate vs. registrations
Event ROI: Pipeline generated per euro of event spend
Events live: Hosted events, roadshow stops and webinars per quarter
Partner events: Events co-hosted with partners per quarter
Need to have
Events. 5+ years of B2B event marketing and management. You've run event programs, not just single events, from 10-person dinners to 300-person flagships. We love the challenge and scary timelines.
Organized under pressure. You run several events at once, and nothing falls through. You live by run-of-show docs, checklists and deadlines.
Budgets and suppliers. You've owned event budgets, managed venues and agencies, and negotiated contracts that held.
Bold. You want to BEAMON to be known for the super-cool events.
Ownership. Strong work ethic. You don't wait for a brief, you are proactive and want to see your ideas come to live (not mine ;) ) – because you know what great looks like.
Languages and location. Native German, English at C1 or better. Based in Germany or Austria.
Extra points for
Network. You already know people in the DACH legal scene: bar associations, legal tech meetups, publishers, in-house communities.
Partners and agencies. You've co-hosted events with partners or publishers and know how to get the best out of agencies.
What you get
A competitive salary according to your seniority level.
VSOP shares in the company
Learning budget, hardware, wellbeing contribution and more.

Workplace & culture
We are a remote-first Software-as-a-Service company, with people across UK, Europe, and the USA. We believe that teams are more important than businesses and we are convinced that the right team can have the greatest impact. Our management team has successfully built, scaled and sold companies before and wants to create an environment where everyone can grow to their full potential and flourish.
We want our team members to take responsibility, to understand the mission and, ultimately, to be happy. That is why our organization is optimized to foster employee happiness, allowing everyone to have as much ownership, autonomy and mastery as possible. If you want to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth on what this means, how working at BRYTER is like, our CPO and Co-Founder Michael Hübl has recorded a webinar, where he shares a bit about our remote-first working culture.
Being remote-first means we work extra hard to foster relationships, including weekly check-ins, at a team and company level, and an in-person get-together twice per year where we spend the time strategizing, planning as well as just talking, having fun and getting to know each other better. Our last Onsite was in Tuscany, and prior to that it was on a beach in Portugal!
